The Girl Did Good

Well we had fun herding on Saturday in Evansville, IN with Joyce Burnham. The weather was very cooperative since we have had 6" of rain and are expecting another 5".
This was the first time Amelia had been on sheep and she did GOOD!
Yes the bad dog did good. I met a gal from Albuquerque out in the middle of Evansville,
she lives in Madison, KY with her cattle dog, her name was Emily and I hope to see them again.
Cathy with Jack (BC) and Georgette with Wicked (Sheltie) were my companions and I have to admit that the border collie did the best of the three for the first time out. We have some video and as soon as the girls Georgette and Cathy can get me the clip I will post it.
So recap we had FUN!

Herding

Well we are going herding with the bad dog tomorrow, that would be Amelia. I'll let you know how that adventure goes.

Here is a picture of Ginger in the back yard after she helped me rake and after she tracked and after getting lost taking our walk in Bernheim Forest. I had an idea where we were but I must have missed our turn and a 30 minute walk turned into an hour and a 1/2. Like a dummie I didn't even bring my phone or water, do I win dunce for the day? Oh well all I can say is look at this baby move.

AKC National Agility Championship 2011

Well after 3 clean rounds at this years AKC agility nationals Flirt and I were in 31st place out of 107 8" dogs, all I can say is WOW. This was my first and I have to say I had a grand time, and the caliber of dogs was amazing.

WOW, two in one day.

Have a said I just LOVE my pup Ginger. Well if not I do! I was getting ready to attend a dedication for a dog park today, Michael Kay Dog Park. Looked out the window and little Ginger was making her own fun. Enjoy.

Flirts MACH Runs November 2009
